ABOUT US
Elmwood Community was founded March 17, 1929, by a group of upright Christian men and women who voted to withdraw from the A.M.E. conference, to form their own independent church, under the leadership of Rev. Edward H. Norris.

Elmwood Community Methodist Church has 38 active ministries from our vibrant Praise and worship ministry to our Ushers. We are always eager to help people who come here to feel the presence of God in everything we do.
